Prøverommet 03.06.24 was held in Nordnes Sjøbad, an 125 year old outdoor public swimming pool. For this event, alongside concerts and performance, I projected a video of lights and landscapes into the pool from above, accompanied by an improvised soundtrack.

The video consists of landscapes filmed around Bergen, interweaved with generated video material from Max. Video below.

The soundtrack is created using a Fyral and a looper program, MLRE.

Prøverommet 17.02.25 was held in Nordnes Sjøbad as well, in a darker part of the year. Another try-out of video and sound material in a pool setting.

This time most of the video material was from around Fanafjorden, some manipulated using Max, accompanied by a soundtrack of field recording material and synths.

Both attempts provided some useful insights in working with concrete and abstract materials diffused in water, and in audience positioning and interactivity.
