For the first time, the end
Album based around feedback exploration/improvisation using Wing Pinger.
The basic feedback loop contains the following pieces: WP, resonator, delay. Throughout the process some pieces would be swapped around, some gear would be changed, but the basic setup would persist.
Recorded over a week at the end of August 2023. I made kind of a dogmatic choice to the recording: for each day I would spend some amount of time “tuning in”, then at some point press record. Afterwards, minimal editing. Post; some filtering to cut out the highest frequencies (though there are plenty), some adjustment of stereo spread, minimal reverb.
These recordings functions a bit as a diary, an extra focus on the need to spend some time each day engaging with this setup within a busy life and the first flight of putting some sound into the world.
